    Hi Susan~
    I was out earlier this week poking around an antique store in the Central Valley (California). I found some old crocheted pot holders and some embroidered dish towels…I love them too! I think you gave some tips on cleaning, washing, them…do you mind sharing it again? Thank you…

    Hi Susan,

    I love your 1st two books and am ordering the final book in the trilogy. They make me feel happy, cozy and loved. You really have such a kind and wonderful way of making everything look beautiful. I have one request. I also bought your cookbook but since it was written so long ago, several of the recipes have been in my family for years. The Artichoke appetizer has been served so many times that people don’t even make it any more. Can you please write a new and updated cookbook? Thank you so much, Vicki

      I did update the 30th year edition of Heart of the Home with lots of new recipes. Not sure if you got that book or not. And I’ve done several others, like Autumn, and Summer, Vineyard Seasons and so on… have you seen those? Someday I’ll write another cookbook. But no matter what I write, they always seem to have recipes in them! Food is rather a natural part of everything it seems! 😀 So glad you’re enjoying the trilogy Vicki!

    Hi Susan;
    I just retired and have been reading your books. I have all your cookbooks and always pulled them out at each season.
    I love your honesty and the way you put things you love to words and pictures.
    I found a new friend!
    Thanks…
