just want to thank you for another year of YOU, your letters and emails, your encouraging words, the connection I feel with you all has made a wonderful lifetime of meaning for me. I'm still in counting-my-blessings mode, a list that wouldn't be complete without you, so

e'll be here, minding our own business as elves should, busy sending out your calendars and things; and we'll be updating my HOME PAGE with recipes, photos, and holiday decorating...so you know we haven't forgotten you. Oh yeah, and making COOKIES! We'll know the computer has really made it when I can send fragrance-of-cookies-baking in my Willards! Or even better, an actual cookie. Mmmm, a warm one, with melty chocolate chunks and crisp edges and a soft, bendy middle...oops, have I gone too far, is this too much? Are you at work and food-free at the moment? Oh well, I'm sorry; I'm sure it won't be long until there are E-cookies, but until then, you're just going have to make your own! Here's the COOKIE JAR to make it easy...xoxo And do this: while your cookies are baking, put on your coat; go outside and walk around, take big deep breaths, pretend you don't know you; now go back into the house. Doesn't your kitchen smell like heaven? Don't you just love you? Me too. I can't help it. You're adorable.
