Woohoo!! Yippeeee! Can’t Wait! I have missed you! Good morning to all….just sent my youngest daughter off to Pre-K, my older two daughters started yesterday, 3rd and 6th grade. Momma is enjoying her coffee and the sounds of a quiet house~ clock ticking, refrigerator running, cecaidas buzzing….but oh I do miss my girls! I have a lot of projects I want to get started on but, I think I will just soak in the solitude this morning. Have a great day FOSB!

    • Karen P says:

Wow! That’s an early start date, isn’t it? What part of the country do you live in? Enjoy your peaceful day, Dana.

      • Dana B says:

It is early…I remember starting school closer to Labor Day. We live in the heart of horse country~ Kentucky.:) Thank you, I did enjoy my day, it feels good to get back on a schedule. You have a great day too!

  16. CarolK says:

Good Morning to you too. I’m so hooked on your blogs, Susan, that I brought my laptop on vacation to NH so I wouldn’t miss anything. I’m surprised that it’s so hot and humid up here in Windham and this morning I can’t tell if that’s rain or a very heavy mist falling. Is MV overcast and rainy today? Will check back later. Hugz……..

  17. mari1017 says:

You’re so sweet to think of us so early in the day ♥♥♥ looking forward to new post and still loving to take that “morning walk” with you while it’s up!

‘Morning, Girls! Looking forward to talking to all ya’ll later. Probably not till after lunch. I’ve been out for a couple days. Had to travel out of town to a funeral 🙁 Lots of catching up to do on this desk of mine.

  20. Pat Mofjeld says:

Wish I’d gotten going sooner and gone on the walk with you guys! You don’t mention mosquitoes there on your walk and right now, after all the rain we’ve had, our nature area here is full of them! Kind of “not fun” to walk there right now…:-)

  21. Doreen Strain says:

Ok, I’m staying right here…but hurry up…don’t wash your hair while your in the shower…it will take longer! LOL ! FOSB 4~Ever ~ Doreen ~ 😉

    • Doreen Strain says:

Sorry Kids!!!! I forgot my manners….Good Morning to all my FOSB girlfriends! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. We have been having some rain down here in FL. The temp is only 73* so it is a lot cooler that it has been. FOSB 4~Ever ! ~ Doreen ~

I’m beinging to feel like we have a Girlfriend Club on here. Everyone is connecting! I’m loving it! 😉

  22. Sharon from Maine says:

Can’t wait Susan, must be something exciting planned for us. Opening your blog each day is like getting a presennt — I’ll be checking back!

  23. Sharon from Maine says:

Whoops, guess I better check my spelling before I hit that reply button!

  24. MizB says:

Of course I/we miss you. I keep telling myself not to expect something new every day, but I live in hope! 🙂 Actually, I live on the Nature Coast of Florida and it was so cool yesterday (high 70s & Rainy) I made stew! Have to take my hints of Fall where I can. I am so NOT a Floridian and loathe the interminable summer. Other than the heat and humidity it’s a beautiful place and always smells so great, but at heart I am a Yankee and I need 4 distinct seasons and summer better be the shortest one. 🙂 Looking forward to your next post…

  25. Karen D says:

Hey! No pressure! (yeh, right… ;0)
What a nice girlfriend group this is! I am thinking of joining facebook just so I can get on FOSB. I don’t know if MV is rainy today but it was pouring here in CT yesterday and it has been so HUMID you feel “in a constant state of inelegance”- a quote of a quote from one of the books. It is amazing how often I think of them – thanks for introducing them to us, Susan!

  26. Yes Ma’am, we miss ya’!

And in fact, this morning around 7am, I thought of you two, going on your delightful walk, over there in Paradise. 🙂

I’ll be back here, in a while myself. After my shower and etc. 🙂

Is this like chatting over the back fence, or what? Is this like the old “party line,” or what? Is this not delicious? Yes, it is delicious. “Pretty Blog Land” is super delicious!

    Gentle hugs…

  28. Carol Lichwala (gramz) says:

Hello Everyone, I am waiting for Susan to return also. I think she might have gotten an idea that is keeping her busy today. Now we need to have the patience to wait for her to return.
Welcome Back Margie, I hope it wasn’t a family members funeral.

  29. peg says:

Always miss you, girlfriend! I just thought you were doing some summery-fun things….you know, foot-loose & fancy-free? We will be here when you get back! xoxo

  30. Ann says:

Yes I did! Looking forward to your next “idea”.

  31. Ana says:

Love the cute floral vase… I teach floral design classes to children and I am planning this year’s agenda, so it was great to see this drawing as I went in to your website. Trully inspiring.

  32. Suzanne says:

Oh don’t keep me waiting too long…Love this blog I read every one you write “Hot Off The Press” so to speak.

  33. Karen P says:

I think Susan is toying with us to see how much we all love and miss her! Okay, Sue! We DO miss you! xoxoxo…..kp

  34. Margie @ Lavender Cottage says:

Well finally someone who understands the art of decorating with a dishcloth. I have two hanging from “teapot” cuphooks and one hanging from the oven door. I love decorating the seasons with different ones but I don’t have that many yet. Now that I finally have some storage space I can really start collecting with a vengence!

  35. Jeannie M from NC says:

Yes, we miss you! Off to take pictures? Not in the shower I hope, lol! I took my stroll with you, came back, still no pretty blog! You deserve a break tho.
Oh Oh! almost forgot! I found “A Short Guide to a Happy Life” by Anna Quindlen, in my local library, read it, and love the pictures! And there’s more! I found the Where Women Create magazine yesterday, at A C Moore craft shop in Asheville! Now I can read it tonight, after gardening and watching my dear Grands today, that is after I finish reading your pretty blogs!
    xoxo

  36. Joan Lesmeister says:

Now, it’s good evening here to all & good night to you East Coasters and Susan! Love your beautiful vase and flowers! I’m off to read the next blog – can hardly wait 🙂

  37. Susan Edwards says:

I can tell from all the posts that I wasn’t the only one who missed you. At first I thought I had accidently deleted the blog stream … 🙂 Looking forward to “seeing” you again.
