Remember last week, we had a drawing for everyone that signed up to get an email whenever I update the blog?
Well, we drew our name yesterday and were just waiting to hear back before we made the formal announcement, which we just did. The winner is one of US! Surprise!
OK, from the state of Washington the winner is . . . Marylou Carson! Confetti coming down! Happy for her!
Her prize is that bag there → which we’re filling with books. Inside the bag she’ll find The Summer Book, my new book, Mom, Tell Me Your Story, my Address Book, a copy of all the original snail mail Willards, called All Good News, and the brand new 2012 wall-calendar. ♥
We plan to do lots of fun giveaways and contests, now that we have a blog and can do more of it, so stick around please, because next time it’ll probably be YOU! ♥
In the meantime, I hope you’re getting your blog updates and that they aren’t too disruptive for you. You can make it stop if you like!
One more thing, then it’s back to the art table for me, we got the word that our new calendars shipped yesterday…we should have them in the studio the first of next week!

I am super happy you have another calendar…I did not like when you didn’t have one…I kept my old one up even though the dates were wrong 🙂 It is my favorite day when I switch each month over (I wish I could say I always do this on the first of the month…but…yeah…lol)

Loved your garden picture. My flower beds looked like that about a month ago and then~and then! We got fried…100’s of degrees everyday. Just went out to deadhead the roses…they were a little on the parched side but I am sure they will recuperate this fall.
